Hello everyone. Its been literally so long since I have posted for you all. I have had so much going on its crazy! I have moved again but more importantly (and it’s more exciting) I am now 26 weeks Pregnant. I am getting to be pretty big now so I will have to start spending less time on my feet and more time on my rump. This means more time to get back into somewhat of a blogging routine. Not that I ever really had one but, it’s my intention non-the less.
So Today I wanted to do a check in and share how my pregnancy has been going. Like I mentioned I am now 26 weeks pregnant so that means my baby Girl! Is the size of an Eggplant or a bushel of Kale. She weighs 2 pounds and is approximately 9.2 inches from crown to rump. Its been crazy how fast these 9 months have been flying by.
During my first trimester, I had a lot of morning sickness. I had been hospitalized with extreme morning sickness and then had to leave my place of employment because it became way too stressful and unsafe for my baby and I. I have a high-risk pregnancy and need to make the safest choices for my pregnancy. Thankfully my Morning sickness lightened up during the middle of my 2nd trimester but came back a little bit near the end of it. I am dealing with it the safest way possible and its been going well so I am not as worried this time around.
Some other second trimester symptoms I have been dealing with most often is just a severe amount of heartburn/acid reflux and tons and tons of burping. Like I mean a crazy amount, I have no idea where they are coming from because there is just soooo much!!!!! On the bright side, I have also been feeling a lot of strong kicks. Much stronger than the ones I felt late first trimester. She has her own patterns and times of the day she likes to wake up, always when mommy tries to go to bed. Its literally the most wonderful feeling in the world and it’s so exciting to watch my belly when she starts kicking. There are some really big jabs that are highly visible.
I plan to do a lot more of these little check-ins as I feel they might help me get back into a flow of writing so I will try and keep them short and sweet. As for this one, I think that’s all I will share for the day. Thank you, everyone, for reading the update on my pregnancy. It really means a lot to me that everyone enjoys my posts. Don’t forget to check out my Facebook Group as well as my Twitter and Instagram to see what I am up to when I am not always on the blog. I hope you all have a wonderful day!
